roads remained closed across the warning area due to flooding.
This flooding is from the heavy rains received over the past
several days.

Additional heavy rain is not expected through Tuesday.

The Flood Warning continues for
the Ohio River at Tell City.
* Until further notice.
* At 7:00 am Sunday the stage was 48.3 feet.
* Flood stage is 38.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... the river will continue rising to near 49.6 feet by
Monday morning then begin falling.
* Impact... at 48.0 feet... water reaches Railroad tracks and starts up
main St. In Tell City.
* Flood history... this crest compares to a previous crest of 50.4
feet on Mar 8 1997.

The Flood Warning continues for
the Ohio River at Cannelton lock.
* Until further notice.
* At 10:00 am Sunday the stage was 49.7 feet.
* Flood stage is 42.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... the river will continue rising to near 50.7 feet by
Monday early afternoon.
* Impact... at 51.0 feet... locks are closed. Large sections large of
Highway 66 flood. Highway 60 floods between Cloverport and
Hawesville.
