the Rogue River below Rockford
* until late Wednesday night.
* At 10 PM Sunday the stage was 5.8 feet.
* Bankfull stage is 7.0 feet.
* Flood stage is 8.0 feet.
* Forecast, the river will rise to near 7.3 feet by Tuesday morning.
* Impact, at 7.0 feet... river is bankfull.

* flood advisory for
the Grand River near Comstock Park.
* Until Saturday afternoon.
* At 06 PM Sunday the stage was 9.5 feet.
* Bankfull stage is 11.0 feet.
* Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
* Forecast, the river will rise to near 11.1 feet by Wednesday early
afternoon.
* Impact, at 11.0 feet... river is bankfull.

the Grand River at Lowell
* until further notice.
* At 08 am Sunday the stage was 7.4 feet.
* Bankfull stage is 10.0 feet.
* Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
* Forecast, the river will rise to near 11.1 feet by Thursday
morning.
* Impact, at 10.0 feet... river is bankfull. Expect flooding of low
lying areas adjacent to the banks.

... Flood Watch remains in effect until 8 am EDT Monday...

The Flood Watch continues for

* portions of central Michigan, south central Michigan,
southwest Michigan, and west central Michigan, including the
following areas, in central Michigan, Gratiot, Isabella,
Mecosta, and Montcalm. In south central Michigan, Clinton,
Eaton, and Ionia. In southwest Michigan, Allegan, Barry,
Kalamazoo, Kent, Ottawa, and Van Buren. In west central
Michigan, Muskegon, Newaygo, and Oceana.

* Until 8 am EDT Monday

* periods of rain with embedded thunderstorms will continue
tonight. Many areas have already seen 1 to 2 inches of rain.
Around another 1 inch of rain is possible tonight bringing storm
total rainfalls of 2 to 3 inches. Locally higher amounts cannot
be ruled out where thunderstorms persist.

current forecasts.
