* Urban and Small Stream Flood Advisory for poor drainage areas

* until 845 PM PST

* at 544 PM PST, Doppler radar indicated rain with heavy downpours
and embedded thunderstorms. This will cause Urban and Small Stream
flooding. Overflowing poor drainage areas will result in minor
flooding in the advisory area. Rock slides and debris flows may
also occur in elevated areas due to runoff. Turn around don't
drown.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Merced, Madera, Atwater, Los Banos, Chowchilla, Avenal, Kerman,
Coalinga, Livingston, Mendota, Firebaugh, Tranquility, South Dos
Palos, Winton, Hilmar-Irwin, Delhi, Cantua Creek, Lanare, Huron and
Gustine.

... Wind Advisory remains in effect until 10 PM PST this evening...

* winds... southerly 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph. The
stronger winds will occur along and below the Grapevine and west
side of the valley near the coastal range where wind gusts up to
55 mph may possible at times.

* Timing... winds will continue through this evening.

* Impacts... strong winds may blow down limbs... trees... and power
lines. Scattered power outages are expected.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Wind Advisory means that winds of 35 mph are expected. Winds
this strong can make driving difficult... especially for high
profile vehicles. Use extra caution.





Small Craft Advisory

Small Craft Advisory... which is in effect until 6 am PST Tuesday.
The Gale Warning has been cancelled.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Gale Warning means winds of 34 to 47 knots are imminent or
occuring. Operating a vessel in gale conditions requires
experience and properly equipped vessels. It is highly
recommended that mariners without the proper experience seek safe
Harbor during gale conditions.

A Small Craft Advisory means that hazardous sea conditions will
exist for small craft. Inexperienced mariners... especially those
operating smaller vessels should avoid navigating in these
conditions.
