* at 650 PM CST, Doppler radar continued to show moderate to heavy
rainfall in much of the warned area. Flooding has been reported in
several locations in the warned area since this morning. Many
areas have seen four to eight inches of rain since last night.
With additional heavy rainfall expected over the next few hours,
the threat of flooding will continue.

... Flood Watch remains in effect through Thursday morning...

The Flood Watch continues for

* portions of eastern Arkansas, southeast Arkansas, and
southwest Arkansas, including the following areas, in eastern
Arkansas, Monroe. In southeast Arkansas, Arkansas, Bradley,
Cleveland, Desha, Drew, Jefferson, and Lincoln. In southwest
Arkansas, Calhoun.

* Through Thursday morning

* rain will continue tonight and Thursday morning, and will be
heavy at times. Isolated thunderstorms will be possible.

* Rainfall amounts will average one to two inches through
Thursday morning, with locally heavier amounts.

A Flood Watch means there is a potential for for high water
problems based on the current forecast of heavy rain.

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible
flood warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be
