I am not sure of the cause of this fire but it sent up an impressive plume of smoke.

Well Mary, looks like you've joined the Rest out in the West! It's not the Best, but we're all burning up. So sad to see all these fires popping up all over the place. Hope it can be put out soon without creating much property damage.

Geez another fire! it's going to be a long summer :( My daughter in Montana says the smoke form three fires up there have filled the valley of Bozeman... current news is that one of them has been knocked down already..that is good news. congrats on the VIP.

This was kind of a bad one - it went from 5 acres to 100 acres in less than a half an hour because of the wind. Rick's partner was on high alert all the way over on Indian Creek where they were dropping retardant on everything! They called out people from Shasta and Redding and all over.
