Waterfall in Pipestone National Monument -- Pipestone, MN. Several inches of rain have fallen in the previous day, and when this picture was taken Pipestone Creek (pipm5 noaa streamgauge) was about a foot receded from setting a record floodstage earlier in the day. This waterfall was about 500 feet down the cliff from the normal streambed -- there is not normally a waterfall here... Unfortunately, all the trails leading to the normal watercourse were underwater.
