Ahh I'll bet they still linger, even though passers-by might not notice... what a beautiful photo.

Memories are never forgotten. They may fade, but when confronted with a beautiful house such as this one, they come flooding back and overwhelm us again.

Isn't wonderful how light can sneak through and show you how you feel about something perhaps from the past and long forgotten.

About CecileWNC
CecileWNC Thank you to all of you for your kind comments, I appreciate them, always! At 16, I bought a Praktica Super TL 2. Since then and for the last 30+ years, I have not stopped taking pictures. I am playing now with a Nikon D-80 and loving it! I suspect that if you were to give a digital camera to a depressed person and let them free to roam in nature, their well being would greatly improve. I am in a constant state of wonder (well OK ... almost constant). I am an fiber artist and dabble in oils but am in love digital photography. Colors and emotions are what I try to translate in my pictures. Thank you to all of you WunderPhotographers for bringing more beauty into my life! Whiterain, another photographer on this site, is my very much loved teenage son.
