Sandy Lake - Pikangikum
Pickle Lake - Wunnummin Lake
Fort Hope - Webequie
Attawapiskat.
An east to west frontal boundary located south of Lake Nipigon is
expected to push northward overnight. A band of precipitation ahead
of this front is forecast to move into the Sandy Lake - Pikangikum,
Pickle Lake - Wunnummin Lake, and Fort Hope - Webequie regions near
sunrise and it is anticipated that the precipitation will fall
primarily as rain or snow. However, there is a risk that some of the
precipitation may fall as freezing rain.
This band will move into the Attawapiskat region Tuesday afternoon at
which point temperatures are projected to be above the freezing mark.
However as temperatures drop in the evening hours, there will be a
slight risk of freezing rain.
Environment Canada will continue to monitor this developing situation
and issue warnings if required.
