SYSTEM FORMING NEAR SOUTH FLORIDA! NorEASTER POSSIBLE?
Posted by: TampaSpin, 1:59 PM GMT en Octubre 08, 2011 +0
Hello everyone,
RAINY FLORIDA DAYS!
Models are trying to form a Tropical or SubTropical System in the next 2 days somewhere near SE Florida in the GOM it appears with the model Consensus. There is lots of shear in the area so my guess this would likely be a SubTropical System in nature. The models are very split as usual with a system that has not even developed a spin yet. But, it is likely that something will develop as nearly every model shows development somewhere over the next few days near Florida. It is possible that we might see 2 separate Lows develop over the next 2 days. It is possible for this to become a Named storm but, not likely it will become a Hurricane as Conditions with Shear is simply to high. The larger threat with this possible system would be to the NORTHEAST as a Possible NorEASTER type system could move along the NE Coast with Coastal Flooding and near Hurricane Winds possible. Be prepared and watch for this potential development.
