So I am back, not rested, but back.A very busy 5 days, with more wood then I care to mention being sanded, stained and polyurethaned. Some did not stain well, and had to replace.
Painter painted the walls.Still need more staining to finish up,and windows need to be stained. So pleased don't mention I was on vacation.
Anyway lots going on in the weather department. The midsection and mid-atlantic southward are roasting, records falling everywhere.
We are on the Norteast side of the ridge,so we are mostly staying out of the hot oven, with periodic fronts cooling us off slightly and occasional storms.Every few days a piece of the heat breaks off and visits us and then is gone in two days.Friday and Saturday looked to be hot and humid, then a front comes through Saturday night.
4th of July could be very stormy, depending on how unstable the air gets, not good news for all those who camp out on the esplanade waiting for the festivities at night.Lets hope nothing materializes, that could be serious if the storms turn severe.
Redsox are struggling through the west coast, but have managed to climb into third place.
So expect a very busy day back at work catching up.Will check in from time to time.
