Celtics won last night,so just need one more win.
Redsox knocked off first place Baltimore to continue their climb out of the cellar.Strange to see the Yankees and Redsox at the bottom.

I continue to hope that my dental cleaning appt. on Thursday afternoon won't coincide with any possible t'storm. I was a bit ambivalent about keeping this appointment when the receptionist called me earlier to confirm. Well, fingers crossed! At the very least, if lightning zaps me during the xray phase, at least my upper portion would be shielded by a radiation bib. For some reason, I feel it would be of little consolation to the rest of me! LOL!
Good news about the Celts win over Philly last night. It appears one particular Celts player, whose name I cannot think of presently, really dominated and scored big time during the second half of the game. Kudos!
Seems the Red Sox's higher ups may have had quite the tete a tete with that star pitcher after he slipped into his defiant off-field antics a few weeks ago. Rule #1: There's no I in TEAM! LOL! I won't name names but it's obvious which one seems to be suddenly redeeming himself by reversing his losing streak to a couple of back-to-back wins. **Hint** His last name begins with B. Hope the staff and team continues developing a more cohesive unit and can somehow achieve more wins. They still have quite a way to go before catching up. At least, I can enjoy the fact that, thus far, the highly bank-rolled Yankees have been more dreadful than dreaded and been in the basement right along with the Sox.
Hope that, at least, Sunday and Monday remain the better portion of the upcoming extended holiday weekend. It would be nice to spend some quality time under sunny skies with close family/friends while either honoring those loved ones who have passed or partake in an enjoyable cookout or two.
Hope you're not on-call this weekend due to taking an extended one last weekend. Would be nice if you and your wife could enjoy a second lengthier weekend in a row.
