Showers are now reaching the southeast Big Island

These are the northernmost rain bands from the remnants of former Hurricane Daniel.

They began around 7PM last night and continue now and will be moving off to the west over the next 24 hours or so. I received 1/3rd of an inch of precip so far since 7PM last night. I expect at least another half inch to accumulate throughout the day.
