MH, think about it, but don't take each word literally. "The world" could mean so many things- not literally the dirt we stand on, but also what we consider our world to be- our surroundings, our culture, what we are used to, our way of live.

"The ending" could also mean a change, a metamorophasis. The catipillar ends, his world ends, but look what happens afterwards.

So think in broader terms, not literally.
