3 DAY WINDS FORCAST ON THE WEBPAGE
The following is from my daily ham radio Report
:
Voice to Text……….
.Well looking down into the Sea this morning I can still see some debris fluffys in the Sea that are left over from band of convection that swept down from Arizona into central Mexico last night causing some thunderbumper activity. The remnants of this activity is still moving south so I would expect that portions of the Riviera will see a fluffy or two today. There was also a report of heavy fog a Isle Carman and la Launcha this morning that will most likely burn off early this morning.
For the rest of the Sea just an occasional fluffy or two will be seen today.
Looking out into the Eastern Pacific Basin it is pretty much clear all the way out to Hawaii this morning.
Looking way south to the ITCZ I can see very little activity along about 8 north this morning. Probably less than I’ve seen all winter.
Using the GOES satellite and looking at the west coast of the Baja peninsula I can see a fairly thick marine layer hugging the coast from about Pt. San Quinten north up into southern California this morning.
It looks like our hood is going to see abundant sunshine today so looking north now to the West Coast of America where high pressure is building over most of the western conus. I can see some cirrus, whispys, over most of the southwest.
To the north, I mentioned that low making a move on the Great Northwest this morning. This is just one of several that will traverse the top of this image, pretty much paralleling the Canadian border the rest of this week. These shortwaves, troughs, can and most often produce some rain as they are doing this morning from about Eureka to the border.
For the southwest it is starting to heat-up. Tucson will see the century mark today and Yuma is forecast to hit 105.
Back down here in Baja we are also starting to see summer temperatures. Today the central and southern Sea will see temperatures in the mid to high 90s. The northern Sea high 80s
So it looks like it’s going to be a pretty nice day in the neighborhood today with moderate southerlies and lots of sun.
