Christmas month getting undereway with overcast sky, northerly 5-10KPH, with the possibility of snow for the mainland, temp at 0C. Temp rising with rain, into double digits over next couple of days.

Telethon for the Boys&Girls Club a huge success with the final tally at $34K plus. The local branch of the Scotia
Bank's efforts accounted for over half the final amount. A great sign of support from the community overall, especially considering the state of the local economy.

The vaccination for the general public, steady all day. Donna & Shauna went last evening tally then around four hundred. I would expect the combination of students, priority groups and now the general public will find the majority of people have had the shot.

Intersting sky this morning, overcast, with tinges of red over Ross Island, nice temp @7C, southerly 15-20KPH. Week looking mild with lots of moisture in the offing, and double digit temps a couple of days. The GRISWOLD effect clicked last evening, did impress Rob, Emily still in doubt, not something that should happen till at least a week into Christmas Month. To top that off Donna has the tree with the lights on ready for trimming, she goes by and shakes her head...

Partial overcast, a brisk WSW breeze 20-25KPH, temperature more seasonable hovering around the 1C mark, with the breeze seems cooler to say the least. Similar weather pattern for the next few days. The local Xmas Market a huge success, with 600 plus paying at the door, combined with the vendors near half the population at the centre some time during the process. Wet, seems to be attempting to clear at the moment, southerly breeze 25-30KPH, 7C for temp. Clearing in the forecast for later on, temps to remain nice for this time of year, however the cooling off later in the week is to be expected. Wet, breezey from NE @25-30KPH, nice temp 8C expected make into the double digits again today and tomorrow. Similar weather for the weekend, once the normal temps shows up will be a shock to the system. Feather white in the harbour this morning, been quite awhile since that has occurred.
