The sun is shining with temps in the 50s. With the exception of a few stubborn maple and aspen the leaves are completely changed. They look stunning along route 189 past Dixie Corner and route 191. I have hopefully mowed my lawn for the last time, but am not so sue with the expected 3-4 inches of rainfall coming for this weekend.

The average water temperature for mid summer in Cobscook is 52, however, in the channel off of Quoddy head is mid-50s. Rain has been plentiful, about 6" in June and near 3" this ...

Around 60F today. Warmed to 71 F yesterday before the "feeble" actually about 15 mph gusts to 25 sea breeze kicked in. Temperature dropped to 50 by 6 PM and by the time I went to bed was down to around 40. The ocean water temp is still hovering 46-48F. The good news: NO FOG. Yet. Looking forward to a nice stretch of weather at the end of this week.Hour-by-hour observations 6-13-098 AM - 54 F9 AM - 60 F10AM - 58 F11AM - 67 F12PM - 69 F1 PM - 71 F2 PM - 68 F3 PM - 65 ...

Ah, the first of what I expect will be a chain of foggy days to invite the coming of summer. Currently 47 F, and foggy. Overall (with the exception of the past 4 damp drizzly days) the month of May has actually been pretty nice weather wise. We hit 86 last weekend, the hottest it's been since 2007 when it hit 90. The temperature most days this month has topped out 58-62. We have had 31 days with fog this year so far, 16 of which have been this month. The oak and ash...
