It's nice to see some other topics discussed, though personally one of the main things I like about this site was the lack of political talk. There's other sites I go to for that. I'm not sure it's appropriate in the main blog. The Doc rarely even makes a reference to politics...the AGW thing is science....albeit science that's gotten politicized.

To that extent, as I've seen some good posts from both sides...I'm gonna' go ahead and open my blog for y'all to have it politically. I'll step away as a contributor and remain neutral in this one case of offering my blog as the political blog, for both sides. Humor, or even weather, is most welcome.

I'd just caution you all that talking politics can put a virtual divide between folks, but you have to balance that with the positive of hopefully finding some middleground and building from that. All are welcome, from both sides. I request that the talk remain civil. The only way you'll get banned from my blog is if you're not civil. Basically, just follow the golden rule....treat others as you'd like to be treated.
