I'm out of the line of fire, tropic-wise. I'm back to school now and although I might not be excited for class to fire up, I am excited to see the tropics begin to cook a few things up. TD6 looks like it may be upgraded soon, but appears to be a minimal (or least far-off threat) for mainland United States.

And although I am going to be watching the tropics this season, I will also be trying to learn a little more about my home-grown weather up north. If anybody has links or some great advice/knowledge I'd love it! Thanks all,

What If the Spill Isn't As Bad As We Thought?

I came across this opinion article today, and I thought I would share. Again, my own opinion is that BP will always be BP and the company should probably be split up or something. They screw something up every decade. This is a disaster. Jobs have been lost, particularly with the seafood industry, and there have been impacts on the wildlife/ecology. And there will be more.
