Good Morning BW

WHO DOES WHAT

A man and his wife were having an argument
about who should brew the coffee each morning.
The wife said, "You should do it because you get up first,
and then we don't have to wait as long to get our coffee.
The husband said, "You are in charge of cooking around here and
you should do it, because that is your job, and I can just wait for my
coffee."
Wife replies, "No, you should do it, and besides, it is in the Bible that
the man should do the coffee."
Husband replies, "I can't believe that, show me."
So she fetched the Bible, and opened the New Testament and showed him at
the top of several pages, that it indeed
says .......... "HEBREWS"

Have a relaxing, enjoyable day.
Take care and be safe,

Gary

Morning, Walker! How's things up in your neck of the woods?

If it wasn't for the rain, it would be fabulous down here this weekend. Really nice temps. 'Course, the clouds and rain are what's making the really nice temps!

Guess we got that rain we needed! Frost? funny I see no frost warnings out for this weekend. The low temp is going is in the low 40's. Frost would occur at 32 or below which is average for early-mid October. Don't worry...soon enough...but not this weekend.

Typically frost advisories/freeze warnings are posted within 24 hours of the event and freeze watches 24-48 hours before the event.

There's a possibility of frost the morning f the 17th as high pressure will be overhead and 850mb temperatures fall to around 1-2C. This should allow temperatures to fall into the mid to upper 30's which is cold enough for frost.

Good morning Bangor!
I'm enjoying the fall weather...it was very hot again for much of the summer. We had a super trip...I'll be posting more pics. On the snow cover contest, you should win hands down this winter. That was very unusual for Denver last winter as we've only had two other occasions in 135 years of records with continuous snow cover for 60 days or more. In a typical Denver winter, it snows a lot but melts quickly. We'll have snow and a brief cold snap, then a few days later we get the downslope "chinook" winds and temperatures jump into the 60s.

Gotta leave for work now...have a great day!

Good morning BW...Don't know if I would actually call it serene, more like freezing my butt off with this cooler temps all of a sudden. Temps have dropped from the 80s to high 60s in a matter of a couple days with the nights going down in the 40s. Too much of a drop too soon.

I love the fall but gee, this should not be happening in our region till the middle to end of October. Is this a warning as to what Winter will be like this year...BURRRR!!!!

Have a wonderful day and keep safe.

Good morning! Looked cripsy outside earlier. Nice rebound so far...not sure of the low here on the coast but the hubby didn't have to scrap the Jeep off when he left so that is good. Looks like Summer will be back later this week!

GM Bangor Maine! Nice day shaping up...no frosts last night or the morning before we managed to get out of that one good. Did you end up with frost up there? Looks like we don't have to worry about that again anytime soon. Enjoy the sun!

Just when mother nature shows signs of Fall...I saw a high of 81 at 3:30pm driving in downtown Bangor...nope don't miss Summer yet *LOL* Maybe in February when it's 15 outside yes. With a normal high of 68 this time of year...yes I believe in global warming.

Good morning Bangor!
I saw you had a record 91 yesterday...looks like that's only happened once before this late in September. This month should break your string of below normal months. We've had some cooler fall days, but no threat of a freeze in Denver yet. Coolest at our house has been 41. Have a great day :-)

I don't remember Summer in late September but this is ok. I have learned not to pack away the fans just yet...ugh.
