Good things are in BOLD. Look at how dry it is! This type of heat with the breeze sort of reminds me of how it was in Hawaii. So dry though. NEED RAIN!
Send Sun please!
We go from having no rain, to having to much. Think I'm just going to hire a lawn service to mow the grass anymore. Having to do it twice a week.

Nice day. Hasn't rained in Ellsworth since July 25th.
I've recieved amout 1/2 inch of rain over the last 2 days, so all is good with the watering. A few drier days and then back to the way the rain is suppose to be. Afternoon. Woohoo!
Storms where strong here last night. Getting over 250 hits within a 15 minute time span. Kncked out power to most of my area. Tress down all over the county with this one. I think it was one of the strongest over this summer. haven't checked the rain guage but there was a onsoon for a bit.
Have a Great Monday! :-)
The rain and lighting have returned. No complaints on the rain but the lighting can go. Tried to get some pictures but there was just to much of it for me to stay outside.
Another cool morning for you.
Still wearing the shorts? :-)
3......3........3........3.......3........3
Have a Great Friday! :-)

Fay is still sitting on the East Coast, everyone in the state is ready for her to get on the move and just get out.
Where still cloudy and some good winds here. Once she starts the move we will get some rains and a little more wind from her. Northern counties will get the worst for the West Coast they have already been put under a flood watch.
You can send down the cooler temps. anytime you want. I think after what parts of Florida have gone through this week no one will compalin.
Fay has been nice to us. A little breezy nd just a few fast moving showers.
Please keep those on the East coast in your thoughts and prayers.
Recieved almost 2 inches of rain here yesterday. One of the last bands from Fay.
Recieved more from that one then the whole time she was in the state.
Winder how many people would have thought the Ray would be that far ahead?
Poor Yankee fans thought we would fall on our faces after the All Star game. Hmm sorry about there luck.
Have a Marvelous Monday.

It's been humid and hot here since Fay came across the state. No rain so it makes it very uncomfortable to be outside.
Were ready for you all. Can there be another sweep. Will have to by a new broom. :-)
Have a Great Day!!!!
Lacking on my daily posting.
Trying to watch the Canes/TS. Things are heating up down here.
Will see you on the 8th.
Since Fay came through the state things have been pretty dry here. Had to start watering the plants. Today's high was 95. There are rumbles to my East now. Hoping for the wet stuff. It's almost here... Finally!
Have a Good Evening! :-)
Will all be watching the Gulk this weekend. It's going to be a long one.
Ready for it to be the end of November already.
Things look like they are going to be busier.
Will have to try and send each other rain I again.
When your done there can you come water mine?
Have a Fantastic Friday.:-)
Gustav!! I seriously had no idea how serious this is going to be in a matter of days. The track is headed right AT New Orleans as a C3. Yikes I guess that's a bit better than a C5! But still, I can't believe it's headed right for them. Well, BANGOR, at best we have "blizzards" which are nothing nowadays compared to the ones I can remember from my childhood.
They will be in my thoughts & prayers.
We did recieve some rain yesterday, but after the last week with no rain and very high temps. the ground is still dry. Takes a little bit more to keep it wet.
Expecting more today from Gustav.
Going to try and get over to the beaches and get some pictures today.
Only recieved a few short showers from Gustav. Just enough to tease us.
Tampa International hit a record high of 93 yesterday. Rain chances are low over the next few day.

God this is nice....
I LOVE September!!!!
We were had the P.I.P going on the big screen. We thought ir was going to be a shut out and then BAMM! I know the Yankee fans were looking for them to do a sweep. NOT!!! :-)
Hanna is bring the east coast rain but nothing here oin the west coast. I'm ready to stop watering again.
Have a Fabulous Friday! :-)
Came through the dry run with Hanna just fine. I love a dud!
Only got about 4 inches of rain here. I thought for sure my dad and aunt/uncle got some up in Greenwood. My aunt said they barely got a tenth of an inch. Guess those bands I saw going over them on the radar were of the "hit and miss" type.
Have you gotten any rain out of Hanna as she passed by?
Long time no chat. I heard something interesting come from one of our local weathermen. He says the Hurricane Ike will have an affect on our weather way up here in Minnesota. The kind of affect will depend on the direction Ike takes, but can you imagine our weather being significantly affected by a hurricane? That might even have an affect on your weather over the next couple of weeks. Of course if Ike does a number like the 1900 Galveston hurricane, we might even get our own Upper Midwest Hurricane. What do you think about that?
1-0 right now. Hope the Rays can find the groove.
Can you put away the brooms? LOL
Still watering the plants, over 3 weeks since we've had any rain here.
Have a Great Day!

The Rays need to get their groove back.

Feel asleep at the bottom of the 10th, then wonke up at the top of the 14th. Tried to stay awake but I couldn't.
What a game.
Please send the cooler air, after Ike moves away hets going up and rain chances going down.
Enjoy!
Have a Terrific Thursday!
Looks as if you are going to be getting some rain from Ike.
Have a Great Sunday! :-)
