im with you BW no crying unless it goes below 20....LOL
Myself and Deb survived the storm yesterday, although for a while Deb thought the outcome was in doubt.
The wind last night really scared her - this from a lady that grow up in tornado alley.
The first thing I did this morning was walk around outside and check the attic. Luckily there was no damage.
We lost power but for only a short time, so never missed the football game *S*.
I guess last night was the start of our storm season.
Hope all is well with you and that you had a relaxing monday.
Take care and stay safe.
Gary
Stay safe!!!!
I think you'll win the snow contest this winter...you're getting buried!! LOL it was 72 here in Denver today with the chinook winds blowing. A record for the date.
Well, I finally have the inside of the house decoated for christmas. I have the outside left to do, which should take about an hour. So if I get real energetic I should get that done tomorrow.
The weather has been unpredictable - snow, rain, freezing rain, sunny then back to snow. Its like the old saying "If you don't like the weather, wait a minute and it will change.
Hope you had a good day, and that your evening will be even better.
Take care and be safe.

We have all the munchies bought (althought we may have to replace some) *S*
Have all the liquor except for beer. Rider won't have a truck large enuf available until the weekend.
We are getting some light snow but its not to cold.
Hope all is well and you are having a good day.
Take care and be safe.

A Winter Storm Watch remains in effect from Sunday morning
through Monday morning.
The potential exists for 10 or more inches of snow and a
significant sleet and ice accumulation across interior downeast
along with strong northeast winds Sunday morning into Monday
morning.
A Winter Storm Watch means there is a potential for significant
snow... sleet... or ice accumulations that may impact travel.
Continue to monitor the latest forecasts.
Have a berry nice day.

I was hoping we would have some nice weather for a couple of days but it looks like that ain't gonna happen.
A winter storm described by Environment Canada as near-crippling is headed for the province. Snow and blowing snow will start overnight, change to ice pellets and freezing rain, then rain through the day. Snow accumulations for the Avalon will be about 10 centimeters. Rainfall could amount to 15 to 20 millimeters in the eastern part of the Province. Wind warnings are in effect for the entire island.
Enjoy whats left of your sunday.

A fair example here but the coast is usually warmer by 5-10 degress on average in the winter. The opposite is true in the Summer =) I wonder too if it's the slight differance in elevation?
Oh and im going to Florida in February...that temp. reported in Tampa does not look so promising for a warm beachy type of vacation :(

Good Morning
Had a great time yesterday with my daughter and grandson.
Before grandson arrived Deb removed all the breakables from the living room so we could open our presents without having to worry about breaking anything.
We played, had our meal and then opened the presents. (Well grandson opened all the presents *S*)
After they left Deb put everything back in the living room and warned me not to go in the room until christmas (ummmmmmmmm, I thought she had removed the breakables to protect them from grandson!!!!!!!)
Hope all is well with you and yours.

Just wanted to stop in and say I enjoyed your snow pictures.
The last time I was in Maine was Christmas 1972. The first and only time I saw real snow.
My aunt use to vacation in Harrison and I can remember going to see a movie in Bridgton, I think it was. There was a mountain called maybe Mt. Pleasant? In the summer we would take the ski lift up for a picnic and walk a lot on the way down picking blueberries that my aunt would make a wonderful cobbler. We would go to the lobster pound and get our lobtser and fresh grown sugar and gold corn on the cob. Sorry to go on and on just a lot of old memories. I hope you have a wonderful Christmas and as Bob Hope would have said "thanks for the memories"!
Good Morning {{Bangor}}.
