That includes Interstate 25 between Chugwater and Wheatland and Interstate 80 near Arlington and between Cheyenne and Laramie. The strong winds will produce areas of blowing and drifting snow... especially in the Arlington area early tonight.
The strongest wind gusts reported since mid afternoon have been 50 mph at Arlington at 416 PM and 47 mph between Chugwater and Wheatland at 415 PM.
If you are driving... especially in lightweight or high profile vehicles along and west of the Laramie range early tonight... be prepared to encounter strong winds and sudden gusts and areas of reduced visibilities in blowing snow.

Localized west winds of 25 to 45 mph with gusts up to 55 mph will occur through this afternoon at wind prone locales such as Arlington along Interstate 80 in Carbon County... at Buford and vedauwoo along Interstate 80 over The Summit between Laramie and Cheyenne and at Bordeaux along Interstate 25 in southern Platte County.
If you are driving... especially high profile vehicles... across southeast Wyoming along Interstate 80 between Cheyenne and Rawlins... along Interstate 25 between Cheyenne and Wheatland... and all other routes near the southeast Wyoming mountains... watch for the gusty and occasionally strong winds and wind gusts... slow down accordingly and keep a two handed grip on your steering wheel to avoid losing control of your vehicle.
