* Flood stage is 9.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... the river will remain nearly steady or slowly fall
through this morning. The river will fall below flood stage Friday.
* Impact... at 9.5 feet... the entrance Road to the Trempealeau
National Wildlife Refuge is flooded.

The Flood Warning continues for
the Chippewa river at Durand.
* From late tonight to Monday afternoon.
* At 8:00 PM Wednesday the stage was 12.8 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 13.0 feet.
* Forecast... rise above flood stage by early tomorrow and continue to
rise to near 14.1 feet by Friday evening. The river will fall below
flood stage by Sunday evening.
* Impact... at 13.0 feet... the basements of warehouses along the river
begin to flood.
* Impact... at 12.5 feet... the North Shore Highway begins to flood.
