A Wind Advisory remains in effect from 7 PM this evening to 7 am
* Impacts: difficult driving conditions on east to west
highways... especially for high profile vehicles. Lowered
visibilities in blowing dust may also occur.
* Timing: the front with very strong winds is expected to move
south into Haskell and Throckmorton counties around 7 PM... to
the Interstate 20 corridor around 9 PM... and to Interstate 10
between midnight and 1 am. The strong winds will continue
* Winds: north winds of 25 to 35 mph... with gusts of 45 to 50
A Wind Advisory means that sustained winds of 30 to 39 mph and/or
wind gusts of 45 mph or greater are expected. Winds this strong
can make driving difficult... especially for high profile
vehicles. Use extra caution.
