The National Weather Service in San Angelo has issued a Wind
Advisory... which is in effect from 7 PM this evening to 7 am CDT
* Impacts: difficult driving conditions on east to west
highways... especially for high profile vehicles. Lowered
visibilities in blowing dust may also occur.
* Timing: the cold front with very strong winds should move into
Haskell and Throckmorton counties around 7 PM... the Interstate
20 corridor including Abilene 9 PM to 10 PM... and along a San
Angelo to San Saba line around 11 PM.
* Winds: north winds of 25 to 35 mph with gusts to 45 mph.
A Wind Advisory means that sustained winds of 30 to 39 mph and/or
wind gusts of 45 mph or greater are expected. Winds this strong
can make driving difficult... especially for high profile
vehicles. Use extra caution.

* Wind: west winds of 20 mph with gusts to 30 mph. Winds shift
north 25 to 30 mph with higher gusts this evening.
* Humidity: 7 to 12 percent.
* Impacts: any fire that develop will spread rapidly. Outdoor
burning is discouraged.
* Timing: noon through 8 PM CDT.
A red flag warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now... or will shortly. A combination of
strong winds... low relative humidity... and warm temperatures will
create explosive fire growth potential.
