A lake effect Snow Advisory remains in effect from 3 am Thursday to 1 PM EST Friday.
* A mix of freezing drizzle and snow will change over to lake effect snow showers during the night. The lake effect snow showers... possibly heavy at times... will then continue through Friday morning.
* A thin coating of ice will continue to form on untreated surfaces until freezing drizzle and snow change to all snow later in the night. Expect total snow accumulations of 4 to 9 inches from late tonight through Friday morning. Look for the heaviest snow to occur over the higher terrain west of Marquette and Skandia.
* Visibility will vary significantly and may be reduced to less than one-half mile at times under the heavier snow showers late tonight through Thursday.
