A Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 10 am EST Wednesday.
* Moderate snow will continue across much of southeastern Michigan overnight... with the snowfall diminishing towards sunrise.
* Total snow accumulations by Wednesday morning will range between 5 to 9 inches.
* Winds will increase overnight into Wednesday... sustained at 15 to 25 mph with frequent gusts of over 30 mph contributing to blowing and drifting snow. This may cause particular problems for exposed west to east oriented roadways.
* Snow covered roads will present challenging travel conditions overnight and Wednesday morning.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
A Winter Storm Warning for heavy snow means severe winter weather conditions are expected or occurring. Significant amounts of snow are forecast that will make travel dangerous. Only travel in an emergency. If you must travel... keep an extra flashlight... food... and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency.

... A Winter Storm Warning remains in effect...
Steady snow is expected to continue across Southeast Michigan into the overnight hours. Through midnight... the axis of heaviest snowfall is expected to lift from the Interstate 69 Corridor North towards the Saginaw Valley with visibilities frequently dropping below 1 mile. Snowfall rates will vary from one half to one inch per hour under the heavier bands.
Strong northerly winds continue to blow in off the Saginaw Bay with frequent gusts to 30 mph. Strong winds will gradually increase from north to south across all of Southeast Michigan as we progress through the overnight hours.
