... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 9 PM CST this
* short term trends... very light snow will continue over northern
and western Iowa this evening with some increase in snowfall
again through early evening over western Iowa as another band
of snow moves across the region from Nebraska.
* Storm total snow accumulations... accumulations will range from 2
to 4 inches.
* Winds/visibility... southeast winds of 5 to 15 mph will cause
minor blowing of snow... reducing visibility to a mile or less
during periods of heavier snow. Winds will increase late tonight
and early Monday morning causing minor blowing snow.
* Impacts... the snow will impact travel across the area. Minor
blowing snow is possible with some travel impacts due to briefly
reduced visibility and snow covered roads. Motorists should use
caution and exercise safe winter driving skills. Cold wind
chills of 20 to 25 below zero will develop toward sunrise Monday
morning and continue through the morning hours.

will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow
