	Lake Wind Advisory
Statement as of 3:46 AM EST on Noviembre 08, 2009 ... Lake Wind Advisory in effect from 9 am this morning to 5 PM EST this afternoon... The National Weather Service in Melbourne has issued a lake Wind Advisory... which is in effect from 9 am this morning to 5 PM EST this afternoon. High pressure to the north and Hurricane Ida to the south will produce strong east winds today. Sustained winds around 20 mph with gusts around 30 mph can be expected. Wind gusts around 35 mph can be expected along the Martin and Saint Lucie County coasts. Precautionary/preparedness actions... A lake Wind Advisory is issued when sustained winds are forecast to reach 20 mph with gusts up to 35 mph. Such strong and gusty winds will create rough and hazardous boating conditions on area lakes and the intracoastal waters. This may result in high waves which may tip or swamp small craft. Kelly
