High Seas Forecast for Metarea 10/11 northern area: Equator to 12 south between 90/142 east and southward to coast between 125/142 east issued by the Australian Bureau of Meteorology, Darwin for 24 hours commencing 2300 UTC 22 may 2013

Part 1. Warnings nil.

Part 2. Situation at 221800 UTC. A trough extends from 4s 90e to 4s 108e to Equator 115e.

Part 3. Forecast north of 8s. Variable winds 10 knots. Slight seas. Isolated storms.

South of 8s. Easterly winds 10 knots, tending south/southeast 15/20 knots in the Gulf of Carpentaria and south of 10s, west of 115e. Slight/moderate seas tending moderate/rough in the Gulf of Carpentaria and south of 10s, west of 115e. Moderate south to southwest swell in the Indian Ocean. Isolated storms.

Remark: a minor change is planned for the High Seas Forecast. The header on this forecast will include reference to Metarea 8 and will take effect from Tuesday 11 June.
