Synopsis For The Middle Texas Coastal Waters
Widespread rainfall with isolated embedded thunderstorms will continue over the coastal waters through this evening. A coastal low off the central Texas coast will continue to move northeast across the western Gulf tonight...providing a moderate to strong offshore flow through Wednesday. High pressure will build into south Texas on Thursday with moderate offshore flow increasing by Friday as colder air moves into the region. Strong to very strong offshore flow will occur on Friday with gusts over gale force possible over the Gulf waters. A developing coastal trough will lead to diminishing winds and increasing chance for showers on Saturday and Sunday.

Northwest winds 20 to 30 knots diminishing to around 20 knots in the late evening and overnight. Seas 5 to 7 feet. Scattered evening showers and thunderstorms...then slight chance of rain after midnight. Winds and seas higher in and near the scattered evening thunderstorms.

Northwest winds around 20 knots. Seas 3 to 5 feet.

Northeast winds 15 to 20 knots. Seas 3 to 5 feet.
Thursday
Northeast winds 10 to 15 knots rising to around 20 knots late in the afternoon. Seas 2 to 4 feet.

Northeast winds 15 to 25 knots. Seas 4 to 6 feet. Slight chance of rain in the evening...then chance of rain after midnight.
Friday
East winds 15 to 20 knots becoming north around 25 knots. Seas 6 to 10 feet. Chance of rain.
